Hello there 🌳

My name is Michael Sandritter. I made a life change by quitting my job in December 2023. After years as a software developer in Germany, I decided to follow my passion for woodworking and moved to Portugal. Embracing a greener lifestyle, I now operate a carpentry workshop using only solar power, ensuring every piece is crafted with minimal environmental impact.

In February 2024 I started to rent an old pig farm close to the city of Monchique. The building had no windows, water connection, or electricity.  The roof was broken and the main visitors after many years of abundance were only spiders and rats. You might think that only a fool would tackle such a project. Well, I am still renovating the place with a brave and positive naive attitude.
